Our creations meet tradition, style and Italian culture.

Claudio Gazzotti is the founder and designer of the brand HYD, originally from Mantua (Italy). After spending important years in the textile industry, he decided in the 90s to move to Oxford, England, where he completed a Master in Marketing and Economics. While in England, his passion for the world of arts and design inspired him to launch a hosiery line.

Claudio named the brand ‘HYD’ after “Hyde Park’, in London in contribution to his stay in England.

The company was founded in Catalonia, Spain, where since the 80´s Claudio Gazzotti has been linked to for work and personal reasons. Claudio resides in Barcelona from where he develops and designs his lines, while the entire production process is completed in the Lombardy region, Italy.

When designing hosiery, I keep the women around me and the most current fashion trends in mind in order to make practical, beautiful, and comfortable pieces. Many public personalities use our high-end articles, hosiery for women who value the importance of the aesthetic and the exclusivity of our company.

The hosiery designer, Claudio Gazzotti, founder and managing director of Industrie Tessili HYD and a member of the Cercle d´Economia in Barcelona, has won the 6th edition of the Dedales de Oro. It is the first and only hosiery company that has, until now, received this award.

The Dedales de Oro Awards are a leading event in terms of accolades awarded in Spain. These awards are aimed at professionals in the fashion sector and aim to support the careers of professionals in the sector, both at a national and international level.
Claudio Gazzotti confirmed that the Dedales de Oro are ‘the recognition of a twenty-year-old company and of the value that we, at HYD, place on innovation and fashion trends when designing our hosiery’.

The Asociación Española de Profesionales de la Imagen [Spanish Association of Image Professionals] awarded the Medalla de Oro a la Imagen to the hosiery designer, Claudio Gazzotti, founder and managing director of Industrie Tessili HYD. The awarding of the accolade was celebrated with a gala dinner at the Westin Palace hotel in Madrid.

HYD receives the "Golden Star" award for the professional excellence.

This award has been given to HYD for its philosophy aimed at achieving excellence in each of its actions.
