HYD luxury hosiery history — where elegance becomes legacy
HYD was born in 1997 from the vision of Claudio Gazzotti, a designer originally from Mantua with a deep passion for art, design and Italian tradition. After studying in Oxford and obtaining a Master in Marketing, he decided to create a brand that united Italian elegance with a contemporary and international aesthetic.
The name HYD is a tribute to Hyde Park, the London park that shaped his vision. Founded in Barcelona — a city Gazzotti has carried in his heart since the 1980s — the brand produces entirely in Italy, in Lombardy, with selected European fibres and cutting-edge textile technology.
